Transformation Through Art, Leadership, and Strategy

Wrapping Up 2024: A Year of Transformation Through Art, Leadership, and Strategy

As 2024 winds down, I’ve reflected on the incredible journey this year has been. It’s been a year of creation, collaboration, rest and exploration—a year where I leaned into the unknown searching for how I wanted to contribute, embraced transition, and took a sabbatical to recharge and reimagine my path forward.

This year has reaffirmed my belief in the power of art, leadership, and strategy to spark meaningful change. And I couldn’t have done it without YOU—my collaborators, supporters, and community.

🎨 Creative Highlights:

- Students Rebuild #studentsrebuild with the @Students Rebuild, Bezos Family Foundation, Hansell Tierney and Creative Visions empowering global students to creatively address climate change and refugee issues. Tremendous partners and collaborators for art events including Choose Love, Solgaard Foundation, Little Amal and more.

- Curated artist collaborations and pop-up museum and events in sustainability with Benjamin Von Wong in Toronto at Arcadia Earth Toronto museum.

- Conducted workshops on themes like equality and innovation with the Chaya Foundation: Humanity is Equality, University of Washington, and the @Equity in Education Center.

-Conferences and workshops featuring collaborative art with the Chaya Foundation focused on reducing textile waste and the Equity in Education Center including the inspiring Decolonizing Education Day Conference.

-Creative workshops for clients and community celebrating changemakers, young people and art fostering innovation and inclusion.

🤝 Coaching & Strategy Highlights:

-Work with some incredibly inspirational BIPOC leaders and their teams coaching executive leaders through the BIPOC ED Coalition on shared leadership, sabbatical planning, and career growth.

-Consulting with Study.com, Equity in Education Center social impact initiatives and creative strategy for the professional learning of the educator workforce.

-Advising the World Education Services (WES) and the COLLEGE SPARK WASHINGTON Foundation on transforming the educator workforce with more immigrant and refugee educators.

🌟 These projects and partnerships have been a powerful reminder of the potential for art, strategy, and collaboration to amplify social impact and inspire transformation.
